On June 9, LEGACY joins forces with SILENT DISCO, creating an epic SILENT STORM of larger-than-life proportions over Allston Rock City!

So, what is Silent Disco? For the uninitiated, it’s a groundbreaking music/dance party experience where one hears music only by wearing special Silent Disco wireless headphones (provided at entry). Once you have them on, you shall possess the power to EXPECT EVERYTHING! The quiet atmosphere around you will instantly transform into the kind of dance party that only exists in our most decadent fantasies.

Silent Storm Sound System brings a unique, dynamic way to experience music at a party which allows conversation while encouraging dance. You got ears, we got headphones – Come get ‘em on, get down, and find out what the hype’s all about!

The indefinable Mr. Golden – “Master of Mixed Music Arts” – will be behind the booth as he is on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, spinning tracks representing all musical styles, eras, and genres, creating the most eclectic night of music one shall ever hear in a single dance party! Hosts DJ STERLING GOLDEN & K’LONI SKY will be presiding over what promises to be the sexiest party of the year, an evening of music, mingling, and flirting that can only mean LEGACY RADIO is in the building.

Last time we took over the Model, we saw our biggest and most successful LEGACY event EVER unfold. For that, we thank you all for absolutely packing the place and being so fucking out of control. Y’all made a little KISSTORY of your own along with us.

Now we’re heading back for our next LEGACY event: MUSIC FROM THE BEAN. It’s just what it says, friends. Mr. Golden will be mixing the music of Boston’s best recording artists and bands, past present & future. Every era, genre, and style, from the most well-known to the hottest rising locals.

You know the drill by now; Mr. Golden starts @ 10 and mixes the music. Harry mixes the drinks. So come out on April 14, support local music, and like last time, we’ll get crazy. Crazy is good. Especially when you’ve got the Modern Lovers for a soundtrack.

It’s Black History Month in February, and LEGACY with DJ STERLING GOLDEN marks the occasion with an all-night celebration of the groundbreaking African-American recording artists and sounds that helped define music history!

As we closed out our last event, DEEP CUTS (our most successful LEGACY event to date, thanks again, all!), those who packed the Model that night got a taste of what’s to come this time around. Some of that hot gut-bucket funk, as well as experimental jazz from the immortal Miles Davis. Well, get ready Allston, ‘cos on February 10, we’ll be bringing it all night long.

Mr. Golden will be mixing it up with history’s hottest soul and R&B, hip-hop from the old-school to the new, vintage blues & jazz tracks, down & dirty funk, music from the inventors of rock ‘n’ roll, reggae & dancehall jams…AND BEYOND!

Come on out to the Model on Wednesday night, February 10, as LEGACY honors Black History Month with a party like no other! EXPECT EVERYTHING!

This month, LEGACY with DJ STERLING GOLDEN breaks out those “DEEP CUTS”, discovering hidden classics from Sterling’s expansive music library. All throughout the evening, you will be hearing some truly rare, hard-to-find tracks that have rarely – if ever! – been heard anywhere on the Boston nightlife scene!

“DEEP CUTS” is an all-night celebration of the music that has lurked within the shadows of the otherwise mainstream, the tracks that have dwelt just beneath the topsoil – everything from rarely heard album cuts and unreleased tracks, to music from more obscure names who deserved time in the spotlight, but never truly received it. You shall experience the very definition of “left of the dial”!

In addition, Sterling shall continue on with tracks spanning EVERY musical genre, true to the LEGACY tradition. Music representing the hottest rising names on the local music scene…today’s most talked-about superstars…music from around the world…the legends and icons of yore…a glimpse into the future…AND BEYOND!

LEGACY represents a celebration of the ongoing history of what Paul Stanley refers to as the “international language”: music. It is a theme concept which brings together nearly 150 years of recorded music history together into a single night’s playlist. All musical genres from throughout the generations are represented, including pop, rock, hip-hop, dance, reggae, funk, soul, R&B, punk, blues, jazz, country, classical, goth/industrial, and countless others.

All of this music is brought to LEGACY by DJ Sterling Golden. One of the newest and hottest names on the local circuit, Sterling Golden is the man who rocked the inaugural LEGACY event, and drew rave reviews for his seven-set performance at the Woodstock 40th Anniversary show at the Somerville Armory.
